Lightware unveils new engineering hub in Hungary

Lightware Visual Engineering has opened a new engineering hub in Hungary, strengthening its research and development capabilities. The Szeged facility will reportedly create 40 new highly skilled engineering roles, and is a key part of the manufacturer’s strategy to keep development capabilities within the country.

"Our expansion into Szeged is more than just about technology; it's about bringing together talented individuals who share our passion for innovation and collaboration," commented Lightware CEO Vida Gergely. "We're excited to welcome new team members in Szeged and to continue building on the strong, supportive network that defines Lightware."

To celebrate the facility’s opening, Lightware also participated in the SZIN Festival, a summer music event in Szeged that served as a platform for it to better connect with the local community and raise awareness of its presence in the region. The company had a booth, named the “Lightware Lounge,” where visitors experienced a relaxed environment with music, games and giveaways.
