Absen enhances Korean church’s worship broadcast

Based in the Gangdong district of Seoul, C Channel is a Christian Church that broadcasts its worship-related programme for its congregation. The church recently upgraded to an Absen LED display for its dedicated broadcast site to enhance the online worship experience.

C Channel decided to upgrade its previous LED screen as it felt the screen size was too small, the colour quality wasn’t adequate and the broadcast team was facing frequent errors with the solution. Furthermore, the smaller screen was embedded into a set with a wooden interior and the church wanted to modernise the setup with a large screen that wraps around the back of the set to display dynamic digital imagery and serve as a backdrop for the worship broadcast.

Various factors were considered during the project, including the special requirements of the set, the actual effect of the screen and its cost-efficiency, as well as the installation of conduits and power wiring and related safety requirements. Following careful consideration, the church elected to install an Absen HC II 1.8 pixel-pitch display measuring 12,00mm x 2,700mm (WxH), citing its quality and industry reputation as key factors for choosing the panel.
