Enterprise IT Program is back at InfoComm 2024

InfoComm has announced the Enterprise IT Program will make a return to this year’s show from 8-14 June at the Las Vegas Convention Centre in Nevada. The 2024 programme will feature a new two-day AVoIP Foundations workshop, as well as education sessions on topics including IoT solutions, IT and AV system design and integration and network design. Additionally, there will be a meetup and a show floor tour focused on enterprise IT.

“A baseline professional AV skillset today requires some basic IT competencies and the same can now be said about IT technicians needing, at minimum, to know how to manage AV on a network plus some aspects of how AV works in a physical space,” commented Annette Sandler, senior director, live content, US/Canada, AVIXA, producer of InfoComm. “InfoComm 2024 will offer an essential training ground whether you are an IT tech seeking knowledge of AV systems or an AV tech working on IT systems.”

The Enterprise IT Program will include the sessions: Combining IT and AV, presented by Keri Manasa of Legrand AV and How to Design an AV over IP Network, led by Laurent Masia of Netgear AV on Wednesday, June 12th.

On the 13th, Jenn Steinhardt of Shen, Milsom & Wilke will lead the Documentation and Coordination Strategies for Network Design session and Frank Padikkala of Audinate will demystify the fundamentals of unicast and multicast transmissions in the Unicast and Multicast: Maximizing Efficiency in Content Distribution session.

Additionally, AVIXA Xchange Live will host enterprise technology managers for an IT meetup on 12 June and The Technology Innovation Stage will present a trend forecasting session on enterprise IT on the 13th, with a focus on how technology managers are incorporating AI into their IT workflows. Furthermore, InfoComm will host a show floor tour led by Jose Mozota of Freman Solutions on the Wednesday, focused on key developments in networking and cloud technologies.
