HDBT3 comes to WyreStorm

Enabling the convergence and long-distance distribution of ultra-high-speed uncompressed HDMI 2.0 audio and video, 1Gb Ethernet, USB 2.0, controls and power, with zero latency, Wyrestorm has developed an HDBaseT uncompressed solution. Supporting 4K60 4:4:4 uncompressed 18Gbps over a single Ethernet cable up to 100m, the HDBaseT 3.0 solution consists of an SW-120-TX3 switching transmitter, an SW-120-TX3 in-wall multi-input transmitter and an RX3-100 receiver.

The plug-and-play setup can be applied in educational and corporate environments where extensions for maximising the resolution and signal quality are required. With API-driven intelligence promoting a simple user experience, further features include automatic or manual switching of HDMI or USB-C and CEC power triggering via HDBaseT, together with audio de-embedding or pass-through.

The Synergy SW-120-TX3 switching transmitter comes with USB-C charging and CEC trigger together with two inputs and 4K60Hz HDBaseT 3.0 transmission. Further functionality allows USB devices to be routed back to the source via a USB host or natively via USB-C, alongside three additional USB device ports that are locally available for a total of six devices. Rounding out its feature list, the SW-120-TX3 boasts 60W of charging over the connected USB-C device.

In addition, the RX3-100 is an uncompressed 18G HDBaseT 3.0 receiver that achieves signal transmission up to 100m at 4K@60Hz via a Cat6A cable. With HDBaseT 3.0, USB data transfers of up to 300Mbps can be performed. The increased capacity supports high-speed connections to 4K webcams, whiteboards and data drives. The RX3-100 can be paired with WyreStorm’s HDBaseT 3.0 transmitters, including the SW-120-TX3 and SW-120-TX3-Ux.
