MABE helps Cultivation Church hear every detail

Faith-based AV production and installation company MABE has provided professional design and integration services for Cultivation Church in Covington, Louisiana. The company’s expertise was used to enhance the new building under the guidance of Pastor Matt Donley.

In order to enhance the acoustics of the square-shaped building, MABE selected Prime Acoustics broadband panels for their absorption capabilities. The panels provide an effective control of sound energy across a wide frequency range so that every detail can be heard, from the lowest to highest frequencies.

The audio system for Cultivation’s sanctuary was carefully selected, with Adamson’s IS7 line array and IS118 Subs. The IS7 line array ensures that the entire space is filled with immersive audio, while the 118 subs provide the necessary low-frequency reinforcement, creating an impactful bass response. MABE reports that the two components have created a captivating and engaging experience for all members of the church.

A Splendor Boone LED wall was deemed the obvious choice for the venue. Its slim profile, measuring only 3.91mm thick, reportedly allowed for a seamless installation. When paired with Chauvet’s Intimidator Wash Zoom 450 IRC and SlimPAR Pro, the equipment comes together to deliver a “stunning” visual experience for worshippers.

The grand opening of Cultivation Church was described as a resounding success, with a record attendance of over 700 attendants. The new AVL setup contributed significantly to the positive outcome, with the church expressing its “utmost satisfaction” with the completed project.
