Lynx Technik cements its status with more yellobriks

Modular signal processing interface provider Lynx Technik has expanded its Yellowbrik product range with the introduction of the SRV 1000 server module and IDC1411 instant dialogue cleaner.

The SVR 1000 server module is a companion product to the RCT 1012 Rack Controller, which was designed to ease the process of controlling, configuring, and updating the yellobrik line of throw-down bricks. When combined, yellobriks operating at different sites can be controlled from a central location. A streamlined interface to control yellobriks centrally, reduces technical onboarding, and provides centralised yellobrik monitoring, reporting, and other status indicators.

Operating as a central control module for yellobrik installations, the scalable solution can support a single rack to hundreds of racks deployed across many facilities. The control topology is all accessed through the Lynx Technik software, LynxCentraal application. A single SRV 1000 server module can extend the control of up to 256 Rack Controller yellobriks which in turn can each connect to up to 12 yellobrik modules. The SRV 1000 is designed to be used with the yellobrik Rack Controller and yellobrik Rack Frame and provides Ethernet LAN connectivity to a yellobrik system for enhanced control from several computers.

Designed to isolate speech and dialogue by removing complex background noises in live broadcasts and recorded audio, the German brand has developed the Instant Dialog Cleaner yellobrik module. The IDC1411 incorporates Deep Neural Networks (DNN) AI technology from Audionamix, which analyses audio and removes background noises and other ambient noises in real time. The AI technology automatically detects the voice regardless of the surrounding noises and preserves the real integrity of the dialogue. The IDC 1411 is being targeted for live broadcasting, recording, editing and mixing audio within noisy broadcast and AV environments such as stadiums or journalists reporting news in outdoor settings and so on. Like the SRV 1000, the IDC 1411 is supported by the yellobrik RCT 1012 Rack Controller and is compatible with the LynxCentraal and yelloGUI software applications.
