Robe Lighting has announced its acquisition of Artistic Licence, a manufacturer of lighting control products and the originator of Art-Net. The acquisition of the company off of Singularity UK holdings Ltd is said to be an important part of the strategic growth plan of both the Robe and Anolis brands and has also enabled an ongoing product design agreement.

“This is a great acquisition for Robe”, stated Robe Lighting CEO Josef Valchar. “It provides products that complement our own production and will add value to sales made throughout our global distribution network.”

“I look forward to helping develop the Artistic Licence business using the significant Robe subsidiary and distributor network” said Wayne Howell, CEO of Artistic Licence. “I am also excited to be involved with new product development for a brand leading business that has always been a key industry innovator.”
