Void unveils smaller Cyclone

Void Acoustics has unveiled an addition to its IP55-rated Cyclone series to serve as a smaller, more compact solution for outdoor entertainment venues. The Cyclone 4 offers additional versatility as a solution where a lower sound level is required compared to the Cyclone 55.

Cyclone 4 is a passive two-way loudspeaker design housing a 4-inch cone driver and ¾-inch soft-dome tweeter. Frequency response is stated to be 83Hz – 20 kHz (±3 dB) and dispersion is 70° x 70°. Power handling is 30W (AES) and maximum output of 102dB continuous and 108dB peak. The ABS enclosure is available with optional colour customisation to better blend in with its surroundings and the components are protected by a marine-grade stainless steel grille.

“We fully expect the flexible nature of this product to be well received into its core market, but to also introduce the Void Acoustics brand into new markets where the design aesthetic and audio excellence of our products is currently less well known,” explained Void marketing director Alex Skan.
