New ways to engage worshippers in 2021 – webinar

Microphone manufacturer Shure will be holding a webinar and Q&A session in conjunction with Worship AVL magazine on 2 December at 4pm Singapore time entitled New ways to engage worshippers in 2021.

Viewers are invited to join Richard Lawn from Worship AVL, Shure’s market development specialist, Rishmond Tew, together with renowned consultants Robert Soo from Cogent Acoustics and Azizi Ali of Acousticon.

“Shure is happy to partner with Worship AVL for this webinar,” said Kevin Koh, manager, marketing communications. “We are looking forward to an engaging discussion to better understand the challenges facing houses of worship at this current time and, more importantly, on how we may advance together.”

In addition to looking ahead at probable future trends, the panellists will discuss current issues facing HOWs in Southeast Asia, including streaming and recording techniques together with overcoming technological and Covid-19 challenges.

“Having successfully transitioned from hosting traditional to online services in a matter of frantic days earlier in March, worship leaders are now collaborating to continue their successful engagement with their tighter knit communities of worshippers,” suggests Blank Canvas general manager, Richard Lawn. “Whether we will return to our old ways or adopt a hybrid model remains to be seen, but technicians will have to adapt accordingly. For many years, both Robert and Azizi have inspired me with their enthusiasm and visionary perspectives and so this discussion should stimulate new ideas for those seeking direction ahead.”
