Ljubljana Mosque makes sound a priority
Bose Panaray MA12 loudspeakers have been installed in the main prayer hall of the Muslim Cultural Centre Ljubljana, colloquially known as Ljubljana Mosque. The first purpose-built mosque to be opened in Slovenia, Ljubljana Mosque hosted a special opening earlier in 2020 with 3,500 worshippers and plans a formal inauguration event later this year.
Special efforts were made to conceal the 10 Panaray MA12s on the front wall of the prayer hall, resulting in floor-to-ceiling recesses cast into the concrete wall that give the impression of an interesting design feature, while further minimising the visual impact of the Panaray MA12 stacks.
Bose 402 Series IV loudspeakers have been installed in the minaret and positioned precisely to focus the audio coverage within the complex itself, minimising overspill to the wider community. Around the rest of the complex, Bose FreeSpace loudspeakers were also specified.
The system is powered by Entero ESA8250 amplifiers with processing and control handled by a Bose Professional Controlspace ESP-880 processor and Entero ESC II Controllers.
