The Compact Series has been designed for integrators looking to place sound with precision

Advancing its Iconyx Compact Series, Renkus-Heinz has developed the 12/3-RN single array module for medium-sized installations in the corporate, education, government, HOW and transportation sectors. Designed to combine performance and directivity in spaces where Iconyx arrays may be restricted, the Iconyx Compact Series is characterised by a narrow, unobtrusive cabinet that is 40% smaller than the classic Iconyx. In terms of performance, the vertical directivity of the beam-steered line arrays can help overcome architecturally sensitive spaces.

Each of the 12 3-inch, full-range paper cone drivers is served by dedicated DSP and powered by a newly developed 12-channel digital amplifier. RHAON II beam-steering incorporates URGO beam algorithms, a movable acoustic centre, multiple beam-opening angles and high-pass filtering of individual beams. A rear fixing wall-mount bracket is included together with analogue and AES inputs.
