As part of its #DontStopTheEducation initiative, Sennheiser’s SoundAcademy has announced that it will provide free pro audio training webinars for individuals in the education, corporate, AV and music industries as well as those working in film and production. The training sessions will cover a wide range of AV topics and will take place at 10:30am, 3:30pm and 8pm (GST). The sessions are offered in either English, German or French.

One highlight has been a sound engineer roundtable, Mixing for live sound – mixing IEMs and monitors, where Sennheiser’s relationship management team was joined by five professional sound engineers to discuss live mixing.

Webinar topics until 9 April, covering both installed and live sound, will include:

- G4 best practice for installers and integrators

- Beamforming microphones for meeting rooms

- Campus-wide audio

- Speech Line Digital Wireless – the DECT approach

- Microphone basics

- Wireless microphone basics: Theory I

‘These webinars are part of our three-pillar plan to support our customers during this unique and difficult time,’ explained Volker Schmitt, director of customer development and application engineering, head of the Sennheiser SoundAcademy. ‘In addition to the webinars, which are open to everybody, we have also shifted individual customer training into the digital world.
