Vue provides audio tips for streaming services
The Covid-19 pandemic has had a major effect on houses of worship, as large gatherings are banned around the world. This has led to many streaming services or content in lieu of a physically present congregation. To assist those streaming for the first time, as well as those who have some practice but wish to learn more, Vue Audiotechnik has prepared a short video with a few tips to connect with congregants at home, which you can view above.
Brandon Rinas, who leads sales development for Vue’s house of worship systems, hosts the video and explains that while video is the immediate consideration for streaming, audio needs to be carefully managed too. ‘One recommendation I have for the audio portion of your stream is to create a dedicated mix – separate from the mix heard through the church’s installed speakers,’ he said. ‘Much like a recording or broadcast TV studio, a proper audio mix for streaming is best done through nearfield monitors.’
The video can also be found on Vue’s YouTube channel. ‘We may also do a step-by-step follow-up video later,’ Rinas added. ‘We hope this video will provide some information as you prepare to connect your church to the homes of your congregation.’
