The Synapse D32Mi can be used for studio, live event and fixed installation applications

The Attero Tech Synapse D32Mi is the newest model in the Synapse series of 1U rackmount network audio interfaces and provides 32 mic/line analogue inputs with studio-grade microphone preamps and Dante/AES67 connectivity alongside 24-bit/96kHz analogue-to-Dante conversion. The inputs are available as terminal block or DB25 connections. Due to its performance, channel density, flexible control and integration with the Q-Sys Ecosystem, it can be used for studio, live event and fixed installation applications. The D32Mi offers front panel and network control of mic preamp gain, phantom power and muting. It also includes assignable front panel headphone volume control and source selection to enable local input and Dante confidence monitoring at the rack position.

Redundant SFP expansion ports are said to allow fibre connectivity for long-range signal extension without the need for media convertors or switches. The SFP ports combine with a fully redundant Dante interface to enable a simplified networking infrastructure. The D32Mi can be interfaced with an additional Synapse I/O device to create a complete digital snake solution and remove the need for additional switches.

In other news, unIFY v3.4.0 Control Panel software has been released, which includes monitoring, device configuration and firmware update capabilities for the Synapse D32Mi and Axon C1 3rd Party Mode configuration.
