Extron has been busy with several product additions
Extron has added to its DTP range of products in AV switching environments. First off are three transmitters. The DTP2 T 202 FB is a two‑input transmitter that sends DisplayPort, HDMI, audio and control up to 100m over a shielded CATx cable to a DTP-enabled product. It is compatible with all DTP Systems products and can be configured to send video and embedded audio, plus bidirectional RS‑232 and IR signals, to an HDBaseT-enabled display. The DTP2 T 203 is a three-input switcher with an integrated DTP2 transmitter for sending DisplayPort, HDMI, audio and control up to 100m. It can automatically switch between video sources and is compatible with all DTP receivers and DTP-enabled products. The DTP2 T 204 is a four-input switcher for sending HDMI and control up to 100m. It routes HDMI video at data rates up to 18Gbps, along with HDR, Deep Color up to 12 bit, 3D and embedded HD lossless audio formats. All three transmitters support video resolutions up to 4K/60 at 4:4:4 chroma sampling and complie with HDCP 2.2.
The DTP2 R 211 is a twisted pair HDMI receiver that supports transmission of HDMI and multichannel audio, as well as bidirectional RS-232 and IR signals, up to 100m over a shielded CATx cable. The stereo output is selectable between de‑embedded or pass-through analogue audio.
Next is the TLP Pro 525C, a 5-inch Cable Cubby Series/2 TouchLink Pro touchpanel with a flip-up touchscreen built into an all-metal cable access enclosure. It has a high-resolution, 800x480 capacitive touchscreen built with scratch- and smudge-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass and offers access to AC or USB power, data and a broad variety of AV connections. It is described as ideal for AV applications requiring a Cable Cubby touchpanel with a customisable interface.
The NBP 1200C is a furniture-mountable Cable Cubby enclosure which has a Network Button Panel integrated directly into the lid. It combines AV control, connectivity and power, and works with all Extron Pro Series control systems and HC 400 Series products. Features include display on/off, input switching, volume control and a flip-up button panel with 10 customisable, soft-touch buttons that are backlit for easy operation in low-light environments.
Featuring six DSP input channels with AEC in a half-rack space, the final product is the DMP 64 Plus series of compact digital matrix processors which come with a flexible mix matrix, a USB audio interface and 6x4 analogue connectivity. The AT models can be powered by PoE+ and provide 32x16 Dante connectivity for popular Dante microphone arrays and other Dante devices, while the V models include up to eight VoIP lines for collaboration applications.
