RTW updates TM7 and TM9 at IBC

The TM7 and TM9 TouchMonitors can now be used over Ravenna or AES67-based infrastructures

Seven years on since their original launch, the TM7 and TM9 TouchMonitors have received a significant upgrade that serves as a gateway to new IP audio networks. Following on from the earlier Dante version release, the two new audio meters integrate I/O cards that enable their use over Ravenna or AES67-based infrastructures. The Cologne-based innovator will also reveal a new licence for the TM-meters, making them ‘2020 Olympics ready’ with regards to the latest multichannel audio and transmission formats.

‘It is always important for us to be present at the IBC shows,’ commented RTW CEO, Andreas Tweitmann. ‘We recognise that many broadcasters today are in a transition phase, moving towards networked audio. Therefore, it has been – and continues to be – a priority that we make sure any broadcaster who decides to take this significant step is able to integrate our audio metering solutions seamlessly as part of their network.’
