Calvary Chapel extends the stage

USA:

Calvary Chapel church in Hemet, California stages special performances on certain holidays. For a recent performance, including a larger number of congregation members, the church needed more room on the stage, and turned to Staging Concepts to develop a custom stage extension.

Several of Staging Concepts’ SC90 Platforms and SC90 support systems were used to construct the extension. Each platform was built with a black polyvinyl surface and a mill finish frame to give the stage extension a clean and finished look. In addition, black skirting was installed on the front and exposed sides to conceal the empty space below.

This modular staging is designed to be set up and taken down easily by just a few people. When not in use, it can be moved into storage. However, when set up, it has been built to provide a seamless transition from the permanent stage with a surface that looks and feels permanent.
