Aachen Cathedral Germany - disguise

Aachen Cathedral, ( Aachen, Germany) took on disguise to help produce a pattern of production mapping to tell the story of the Cathedral's long history. Founded by Charlemagne in the 8th century, the Cathedral is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Images outlined the original structure as well as the evolution over 1200 years including the fire of Aachen in 1656 where flames raced up the sides of the church and the heavy damage the Cathedral sustained during World War ll. An architectural projection mapping was shown for nine evenings to 40,000 spectators.
