Additionally, the Goliath HD includes the manufacture’s HDX Delay Compensation technology that ensure that digital and analogue signal appear at the right time. Users can also reportedly have a Pro Tools HD and a Native DAW setup simultaneously interface with a single Goliath HD.
Additional main features include 16 XLR combo, four Hi-Z ¼-inch and two DB25 inputs (for up to 16 channels), as well as a stereo pair of monitor outs, stereo headphone outs and ReAmps outs on ¼-inch jacks, in addition to four DB25 ports (for up to 32 channels).
Alongside the new Goliath model, a 2017 revision to the Orion Studio audio interface has also been announced. As well as an exterior facelift, the revision benefits from new A/D conversion promising 124dB dynamic range and 64-bit Acoustically Focused Clocking (AFC).
